NEXGEN by Medeco is a comprehensive electronic locking system incorporating Controlled
Access, Audit Capability, and Physical Security. NEXGEN products have the ability
to be linked together throughout your system to provide full integration. One
key can be programmed to open any combination of locks.
You control who has access to your locks, which locks they can access, and when
that access can occur. You can also track all activity including when each lock
was opened, what time it was opened, and with which key. Audit trails are maintainable
on both the lock and the key so you know who accessed the lock as well as knowing
what locks an employee opened or tried to open.
Lock features :
Stores up to 2,000 audit events. Use a steel shell, bolt, and hardened steel
plug face.
Derives power from the key and not the lock.

Can store an audit of up to 6,000 events. Can store access for up to 11,000 locks

Remote key programmer :
The NEXGEN Remote Key Programmer gives you total control over remote sites. It
will store
over 100,000 unique locks in its on-board memory. When a designated key is placed
on the
programmer the information will upload automatically.
A single PC can control the keys at any site. With the programmer, you can program
and return keys at remote locations, produce
complete reports of activities occurring at remote locations, and have locks
ready for instant
upload.
The device includes full back-up power so that keys can be programmed even during
a power failure.
